Your First Visit

Welcome to Greenbrier Massage! We want you to get the most out of your massage or bodywork session. Here is what to expect on your first visit.

Consultation · Arrive about five minutes prior to your appointment time. Your therapist will greet you and ask you to fill out a Client Intake Form. This will tell us about your medical history, past or current injuries, or any other health concerns. Your therapist will ask about your goals for the massage and address any specific areas that are painful or need special consideration.

Massage Room · Your therapist will take you to the massage room and show you where to put your personal items and clothing and how to get under the top sheet on the massage table. Your therapist will leave the room while you disrobe, get on the table and cover yourself with the top sheet. After a few minutes you will hear a knock on the door and the therapist will ask permission to enter the room. For your comfort and modesty you are draped during the massage. Only the area being worked is uncovered.

Your Massage · Before beginning your massage the therapist will ask to be made aware of any technique or stroke that may be causing discomfort. The table is well padded and heated, and the head rest is adjustable. Let us know if anything needs to be adjusted for your comfort.

Session End · At the end of your massage the therapist will leave the room so you can redress and will meet you in the front room.

We look forward to supporting your health and wellness goals and concerns.
